Los Angeles County Strategic Plan for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
With funding support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, DPH established the Healthy Brain LA Coalition in partnership with the Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Department in 2020. Together, the Coalition developed the Los Angeles County Strategic Plan for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias, 2023-2028 (Strategic Plan). The Strategic Plan serves as a practical guide for addressing the complex issue of dementia in Los Angeles County, using a health equity lens to shape and plan the next steps for this effort. Over the next 5 years, the Coalition will work to guide the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
