Cardiovascular Disease Prevention

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a term used to describe diseases of the heart or blood vessels such as coronary heart disease, stroke, and peripheral artery disease. Cardiovascular diseases are regularly among the top 10 leading causes of death in Los Angeles County.
