	Report
FHOP is a cooperative effort of the
Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Institute for Health
Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco. The mission
of the Project is to improve the health of children and their families and
communities by supporting development and implementation of comprehensive
community assessment and planning, data-driven policies, evidence based
interventions, and effective evaluation strategies. The Los Angeles County
Department of Public Health MCAH Programs adopts the FHOP tools to develop
the Los Angeles County Perinatal Indicator's Report.

	- The State of Child Abuse in Los Angeles County
	Report
The mission of ICAN is to improve the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children
through multidisciplinary efforts that support the identification,
prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. ICAN provides advocacy
and leadership within Los Angeles County, as well as on a state and national
basis, for improved policy development, provision of services, public
awareness, education and training. The MCAH Programs represents the
Department of Public Health on ICAN Committees such as the ICAN Data-Information
Sharing Committee, and compiles and submits ICAN Agency Reports on behalf of
	the Department.
The LAMB Project is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. It is both a population-based surveillance tool and a community outreach project. The LAMB survey asks mothers who recently delivered a baby about events that happened before, during, and after their pregnancy. The purpose of the Project is to better understand the causes of poor birth outcomes in Los Angeles County; to identify areas where help and resources are needed the most; and to improve the health and human services of future mothers and babies in Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles Health Overview of a Pregnancy Event (LA HOPE) Project Data
	Reports
The LA HOPE Project is a survey sponsored by the Los
Angeles County Department of Public Health. We are asking women who have had
a fetal or infant loss to answer questions about their life before, during,
and after pregnancy. The goal of the Project is to reduce infant death and
promote the health of mothers and babies. The information from the survey
may help us improve programs and policies for health and grief support.
