Elementary Workshops

Safe driving habits don’t begin when a teen gets their driver’s permit—they start much earlier. Kids in the back seat are always watching, learning from the adults around them. Every ride is a chance to model and reinforce safe behavior.

That’s why L.A. County Public Health offers a FREE, engaging, and educational workshop for elementary students. These interactive sessions empower children to develop lifelong safe passenger habits by emphasizing the importance of wearing seat belts, staying properly seated, not distracting the driver, and speaking up if something feels unsafe.
