Public Health Youth Leaders

Ever wonder what it’s like to battle viruses, advocate for health issues, and investigate emerging diseases?

Youth ages 16 and 17 are invited to join an 8-week summer program to learn about the field of public health and how we serve communities in Los Angeles County. Be inspired to change the world!

Teens and Parents Welcome!

Teens are at highest risk for car crashes.  The #1 killer of teens in America is reckless and distracted driving.  In this workshop, learn about:

  • Strategies to stay safe on the road as a driver or passenger
  • Graduated Drivers Licensing (GDL) laws
  • How you can help stop the #1 killer of teens in America
