Rx for Prevention
This newsletter is published 10x per year for physicians in Los Angeles County. It provides essential prevention-related information and focuses on practices in clinical medicine that are vital to the overarching goals of prevention and public health within our community. Topics include chronic disease and injury prevention, immunizations, treatment of substance abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, and other communicable diseases of public health interest. Continuing medical education credit will be offered in certain editions.
Influenza Watch
A weekly online newsletter published during influenza season. It provides statistics of influenza activity in Los Angeles, including the number of positive flu tests and the percent of emergency department visits for influenza-like illness each week. It also offers more global information, reporting on influenza in California and the nation.
