The Planning Unit is responsible for developing and implementing the Department of Public Health's departmentwide strategic plan.
The planning process for a new departmentwide Strategic Plan gets underway in 2024. By
partnering with diverse organizations and
communities, Public Health hopes to strengthen the conditions in LA County neighborhoods that provide access to the resources all people need to be healthy and to thrive.
