CLAS ACT Training
Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC) seeks to ensure access to culturally respectful and linguistically appropriate services that incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion.
To assist SAPCs Provider Network in meeting federal, State, and County requirements and to improve service quality, enhance customer experience, and help reduce health disparities,
SAPC has partnered with California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions (CIBHS) to offer technical assistance through coaching, workshops and trainings.
The Cultural and Linguistically Appropriate Services - Access to Coaching and Training (CLAS ACT) project is intended to assist providers in improving current practices,
policies and procedures to ensure that patients entering the SUD system have equitable access to the benefits of treatment,
feel welcome and cared for regardless of language, race/ethnicity, gender identification, sexual preference, or abilities.
