Mission
Prevent the transmission of tuberculosis (TB) within Los Angeles County through early detection of active disease and treatment of latent infection.

Vision
Eliminate tuberculosis from the indigenous and resident population of Los Angeles County .

The consultative specialty units located within the TB Program office includes:

Surveillance
Multidrug- Resistant

Epidemiology
Refugee and Immigration
Health Education
Public Health Investigation
