People Experiencing Homelessness

Homelessness is an issue that impacts many individuals and families with substance use disorders (SUD). Approximately 20-35 percent of people experiencing homelessness (PEH) report having an SUD. Availability of stable housing during treatment and recovery tends to produce better SUD outcomes. SAPC is involved in numerous collaborative efforts to provide SUD treatment to those who are unstably housed and has various services and benefits for PEH with SUDs, including Recovery Bridge Housing.
