Protection of Public Health Near Oil and Gas Development
The Community Prevention and Population Health Task Force prioritized the protection of public health near neighborhood oil drilling sites, as one of the
Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) priority areas.
We are currently working to develop specific strategies related to this priority area for the new CHIP, which will be released in 2020. For more information about this effort, please contact the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s Office of Planning at email@example.com.
