Healthy Beverages

couple drinking water

What you drink matters

One can of soda has about 150 calories. Drinking one soda per day for a year (365 days) adds 54,750 calories each year. That adds up to 15.64 POUNDS PER YEAR! Trade sugary drinks for water! Your body will appreciate it. Drinking water can help you stay hydrated and reduce symptoms of dehydration like headaches. Drinking water can also keep your skin hydrated, and helps preserve elasticity, which prevents wrinkles and dry skin.

How to drink more water

It’s hard to make changes to what you drink. Especially if you were raised on soda, juice, and agua fresca, the idea of drinking water sounds bland and boring, but it doesn’t have to be!

Check out these water recipes for delicious fruit-infused water.
