Welcome to the new portal for Community Health Services!
This portal is a convenient gateway to access information about our
clinics and field services. Our 26 Health Districts are arranged
into eight geographical areas known as Service Planning Areas or SPAs.
The SPAs, managed by our Area Health Officers, offer health safety net public health services such as screening and treatment for tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases, and child and adult immunization services. The SPAs also are home to Public Health Nurses and other staff who follow up on reports of communicable disease, work at the community level to prevent chronic disease and promote the health and well-being of all communities in Los Angeles County.
