Zika Locations: Places Where Zika Virus is Spreading

As of January 1, 2018, all but one case of Zika virus disease identified among LA County residents were infected while traveling outside of California, mostly in Mexico and Central America (e.g., Guatemala, Nicaragua, and El Salvador). The remaining case was infected by sexual transmission.

The most current list of locations of exposure for LA County residents is included here.
