SAPC-UCLA Lecture Series, Health Care Reform Lectures, and other previous trainings
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Substance Abuse Prevention and Control and the Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center hold a quarterly lecture series on current topics of interest in the substance use disorder treatment and research worlds.  Leading researchers and treatment practitioners provide attendees with state-of-the-art, evidence-based information on substance abuse treatment and prevention.  UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs currently provides continuing education units for counselors, clinicians, nurses, and other professionals in the substance abuse field who attend the lecture.
