Quality Improvement Online Trainings

  1. CQI for Public Health: The Fundamentals.  This two-module course provides participants with a basic understanding of continuous quality improvement (CQI) and provides guidance for leading quality improvement (QI) projects in public health departments. The course is delivered in an online, self-study format and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.  

  2. Quality Improvement Learning Series.  In this series, trainer Sonja Armbruster introduces QI principles for public health including what it is, how QI fits into the larger performance management framework, connecting QI to the agency’s culture, and telling the quality improvement story through storyboards. This training takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
