Medication Calculation Exam Study Guide and Practice Exam  

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Nursing Medication Calculation Exam (MCE)

The medication calculation examination consist of 31 questions for Registered Nurses and 25 questions for Licensed Vocational Nurses of dosage calculations, I.V., and patient rights.  You have one (1) hour in which to complete the examination.  A score of 80% (25 correct) for Registered Nurses and (20) for Licensed Vocational Nurses is required to pass the examination.  Please use the study guide and sample practice test to prepare for the examination.
