PER DIEM/CONSULTATIVE POSITIONS FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS

The CCS Social Work Unit has ongoing recruitment for interested and qualified
LCSWs & LMFTs to provide authorized mental health services to children and
their families.

Services can include short-term individual and family therapy, emotional support,
crisis intervention, case management with community resources and services, and advocacy.

Two types of positions are currently available:

                square bullet image LCSWs may participate as part of a multi-disciplinary medical team
                  at designated CCS Medical Therapy Units.

                square bullet image LCSWs & LMFTs for home/office visits to provide psychosocial support 
                  services. Applicants may designate their own service area.

Bilingual skills and experience with children with special health care needs are
desirable.

MEDICAL CONSULTATIVE POSITIONS

PHYSICIANS NEEDED FOR CALIFORNIA CHILDREN'S SERVICES MEDICAL THERAPY PROGRAM

Los Angeles County California Children's Services (LAC CCS) is seeking CCS-paneled general pediatricians and pediatric orthopedic surgeons to serve on multidisciplinary team case conferences for evaluation and case management of children with certain chronic neuromuscular and orthopedic disabilities. These children receive rehabilitative services (primarily occupational and physical therapy) though the CCS MTP. Excellent hourly compensation offered. Four or eight hour conference time periods are available at various geographic locations, at public school sites, throughout LAC. Pediatricians and pediatric orthopedists should be CCS-paneled and Medi-Cal approved. Past experience with care coordination of children with complex conditions and/or care of children with special heath care needs is preferred.
