Vaccinate your pets!
Vaccinations are a low-cost way to protect your pet
against deadly diseases. Every year, many dogs in our
county become sick with infection from Parvo and
Distemper. Parvo and Distemper can be fatal to your dog.
Every year cats in our county catch the infection called
Panleukopenia. Many of them die.
These infections can be prevented. It can cost a lot
of money to treat pets for these infections. It is
cheaper, and smarter, to vaccinate your pets to protect
them.
Most vaccines must be given more than once to be
effective.
Several Animal Control agencies in our county offer
vaccination clinics for your dog or cat. Vaccinations
there are low cost. For example, rabies vaccinations
often cost as little as $10 at these clinics.
