California Administrative Code, Title 22, Division 22, Chapter 9, Sections 41301-41329 was approved in 1980. The school mandate requires that all Kindergarten and newly enrolled students in grades 1-12 who have never previously attended school in California must provide written documentation of a Latent Tuberculosis Infection Test result. In 1985, Latent Tuberculosis Infection Test School Mandate Reporting began in Los Angeles County and has continued to date.
