Join the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health in celebrating National
Public Health Week, which will be held this year from April 1-7.
This FREE event is open to the public. Health Expo 2013 will be held on
Thursday, April 4, from 11 am to 3 pm at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical
Monument (Olvera Street), 125 Paseo de la Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Little steps can lead to big changes. The future of health is empowering
communities with the tools, knowledge, resources, and choices to make lasting
change. Take the first step by getting FREE health screenings at Health Expo:
dental, cholesterol, blood sugar, asthma, allergy, and much more.
There will also be cooking and self-defense demonstrations; information on
emergency preparedness, women's health, nutrition, immunizations, and more.
