Answer: The mission of the Alcohol and Drug Program Administration is to reduce community and individual problems related to alcohol and drug use.
- What types of special contract groups are targeted?
Answer: Contracts include services targeting the following specific populations: African Americans; Asians and Pacific Islanders; Latinos; Native Americans; criminal justice referrals (probation); dually diagnosed; elderly; gay, lesbian, transgender, and/or transsexual; hearing impaired; homeless; injection drug users; parolees; physically challenged; pregnant, postpartum and parenting women and their children; and youth.
