Environmental Health Swimming Pool Inspection

Swimming Pool Inspection Details

The Swimming Pool Program is responsible for the inspection of approximately 16,000 public swimming pools, spa pools and special purpose pools in Los Angeles County, to ensure they are built, maintained and operated in compliance with state and local laws. The Program conducts routine, follow-up and complaint inspections at public pools.

Many businesses and/or facilities have more than one pool. Each pool receives its own individual inspection with its own inspection results. When searching, you may likely see one business or facility listed more than once. Also, inspection results are provided for only the past two years.

The cities of Long Beach, Pasadena, and Vernon inspect their own swimming pools, so inspection results for those facilities do not appear on this site.
