On January 31, 2018, the Office of Women's Health hosted "Building Health Equity for Women in Los Angeles County" at The California Endowment.

This conference focused on Advancing Women’s Health Equity and Ensuring Coverage and Access to Care for Women based on the findings of the Office of Women's Health's 2017 Data Report titled " Health Indicators for Women in Los Angeles County - Highlighting Disparities by Ethnicity and Poverty Level." Selected Data Points Sheet and " Economic Security Among Women in Los Angeles County" and " Health Insurance Coverage and Access to Care Among Women" data briefs.
