All Los Angeles County residents have access to nutritious,
affordable foods and have adopted healthy eating habits.

Nutrition
Education Programs Los Angeles County Program
Description
The
Nutrition program of the Los Angels County Public Health
Offers Three Educational Programs:

Train
the-Trainer (Promotora/es Program):
The goal of
this program is to combine County and community
resources to train the promotora/es and qualify them
to deliver nutrition education to the community.

Community
Nutrition Education Program:
This program
aims to educate the community on best nutrition
practices and promote the resources and services
offered by the Nutrition program.

Ask
The Dietitian Program of Los Angeles County at the
Farmers’ Market Program:
This is a
dynamic program that promotes consumption of
California grown produce, fosters public and private
partnerships and maintains a visible presence in Los
Angeles County communities.
