The Ask the Dietitian (ATD) Program takes place in communities at farmers’ markets at various locations in Los Angeles County. The goal is to increase consumption of California grown produce and to foster public private partnerships with the Farmers’ Markets, local organizations and the Department of Public Health, by maintaining a visible presence in communities in Los Angeles County.
The Ask the Dietitian Los Angeles County Program runs from March to November of each year. Healthy recipes emphasizing fruits and vegetables available at farmers' markets are provided at our booths. Click on ATD locations for the most updated information. Registered Dietitians, dietetic interns, students, or volunteers from partnering agencies, such as public health nurses, staff this program.
