Nutrition Education

reaching families

The Department of Public Health is implementing community-based nutrition education by partnering with schools, community, and faith-based organizations, public agencies, worksites, and small and large grocery stores.

Working collectively across sectors, this multi-level intervention focuses on helping shape individuals' food and physical activity choices by reaching them in appropriate settings to deliver effective nutrition education and obesity prevention programming.
