Collaborative Quarterly Meeting and the Network for a Healthy California--Los
Angeles Region Sharing Forum!
The
morning session will be our Quarterly LA Collaborative meeting--with
presentations from our LA Collaborative Mini-Grant recipients and resource
sharing from Project Lean.
The afternoon session
will be include panel presentations on local best practices
in parent education and outreach, group breakout activities
and resource sharing.
A healthy breakfast will
be provided in the morning by the UC Cooperative Extension.
A healthy lunch will also be provided for those participants
staying for the full day.

Shape
of Yoga Training Workshop
The Network for a Healthy California--Los Angeles Region
invites you to participate in an interactive workshop
designed to teach leaders in the community how to utilize a
newly developed physical activity resource called Shape of
Yoga. Shape of Yoga is a booklet that contains 10-basic yoga
poses which also provides nutrition tips intended to teach
family-friendly yoga activities to low-income parents of the
Los Angeles County.
