Campaign DescriptionThe
Network for a Healthy California--Latino
Campaign is
to empower low-income Latino adults and their families
to consume the recommended amount of fruits and
vegetables and enjoy physical activity every day. The
Latino Campaign airs Spanish and English television and
radio advertisements, operates mobile billboards, and
works with bilingual spokespeople who present the
important issues to the media. The campaign also
conducts community-level interventions through
festivals, farmers/flea markets, neighborhood markets
and health service providers.
