Perinatal HIV: Where to Report & Refer

If a client is HIV positive, do you know where to report and refer? Visit the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Division of HIV and STD Programs to report cases of HIV and other STDs. Pregnant women with HIV must be referred to a Perinatal HIV Specialty Center to receive specialized care throughout their pregnancy.

Introducing Perinatal Food Group Recall (PFGR)

As of January 1, 2015, the LA County CPSP Program will replace the Perinatal Food Frequency Questionnaire (PFFQ) with the Perinatal Food Group Recall (PFGR). The PFGR asks questions about a client’s usual daily diet and allows the CPSP practitioner to document education and advice directly on the form itself. Please download and review the PFGR, the instructions, and MyPlate for Moms (English & Spanish). If you have any questions, please contact Thelma Hayes at 213-639-6423. .
