Doulas play a crucial role in addressing the disproportionate rates of Black/African American infant and maternal mortality. The AAIMM Doula Program, recognized nationally for its innovation and effectiveness, strengthens the support services available to residents. If you are African-American and pregnant, you may be eligible for complimentary support from a certified birth doula.
