Staff Recruitment and Training

The mission of Staff Recruitment and Training is to provide staff with Environmental Health  training and to provide training support for Environmental Health Administration.


  • In-Service Training
  • Recruitment/New Employee Orientation
  • Community Outreach
  • Technical Research
  • General Staff Development and Support
  • Coordinate the orientation and training of all new employees and ensure that the training objectives are approved and meet mandated State requirements
  • Coordinate the interview process for applicants with Human Resources
  • Recruit highly qualified applicants, assist Human Resources and report directly to the Director of Environmental Health in the selection of new employees
  • Develop and coordinate the Integrated Master Training Plan and Internship Program for Environmental Health
  • Develop a Management/Supervisory Training Program
  • Implement a Career Development Plan/Course for employees

To pay for your Public Health Permit and/or License using your Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover), Debit Card, or Electronic Check (ECheck), please visit our Payment Portal .

A convenience fee per transaction will apply. The convenience fees for Credit Card, Debit Card, and Electronic Check are 2.25% of payment, $1.49, and $0.95 respectively.
