Fiscal Services
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SERVICES:
- Plan, organize, review, and evaluate all
Environmental Health budget matters
- Coordinate all mutual financial programs and
projects involving Environmental Health and other
financial units of the Department of Public Health,
Chief Administrative Office or other County agencies
- Maintain all accounts receivables and accounts payable for Environmental Health
- Advise and consult with management regarding fiscal
implications of proposed legislation and departmental
procedures
- Coordinate, organize, prepare, and review the annual
budget request for Environmental Health
- Initiate and distribute Public Health
License/Permits Collections Reports
- Prepare the annual health fee ordinance for
Environmental Health
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor all Unlicensed
Activity Fee Assessment Programs
- Perform financial studies, cost projections, and
special assignments as requested by the Director of
Environmental Health, Bureau Directors, and Managers
- Interpret, clarify, and resolve questions for
Environmental Health staff related to Federal, State,
and local regulations, policies, and procedures
pertaining to revenue
