Early Needs Response for Infant
and Child Health (ENRICH):
is a two-year community health project that
increases developmental delay support and
services for families and children affected by
the health risks resulting from years of toxic
emissions in the Exide Community. ENRICH
increases the availability of development delay
and adjustment challenge screening tools and
increases family success and confidence in
navigating health care, mental health, and
behavioral health resources, as well as
empowering parents to play an active role in
their child’s education development.
AltaMed is the leading pediatric medical provider in the target Exide area.
Children's Hospital Los Angeles has two Practice Family Partners to assist AltaMed clients with ENRICH services.
