TelePrEP/PEP Program

The TelePrEP/PEP program is a new approach to HIV Pre and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis management that allows you to have your medical appointments in the comfort of your home or while you’re “on the go", fitting into your daily routine.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)

PrEP can reduce the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99% . Stick to your medication routine to maximize its protective benefits.
You must be HIV-negative before and while taking PrEP.

We offer 3 PrEP options:

Oral

1. Truvada for PrEP is for everyone! Including HIV negative adults and adolescents weighing at least 77 pounds (35 kg) and at risk for getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. Truvada is like a protective shield taken before exposure to HIV.

2. Descovy for PrEP is a daily medicine for adults and adolescents at risk of HIV through sex. It is not for use in people assigned female at birth who are at risk of getting HIV from vaginal sex.

Injectable Apretude for PrEP

3. Apretude is the first and only long-acting injectable medication that reduces the risk of getting HIV-1 when taken every other month as prescribed. Must be HIV negative to start and stay on Apretude. Injectable PrEP decreases the risk of contracting HIV through intercourse by about 99% and from injectable drug usage by at least 74%.

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)

PEP is like the "morning-after pill" for HIV prevention. It acts as a superhero's rescue medicine after possible exposure to HIV and must be taken within 72 hours of a potential HIV exposure.
