About the MLK Healing Center
History: The MLK Healing Center was designed and programmed with input from the Willowbrook Community Action for Peace Coalition. The MLK Healing Center was established by DPH West and South LA Regional Health Office in collaboration with the Office of Violence Prevention's Trauma Prevention Initiative team in the Fall of 2018. The Healing Center has become a trusted and safe community space to promote healing and increase access to trauma prevention and intervention services.

Goals: To work closely with community residents and partners to develop a space to promote healing and increase access to trauma prevention and intervention services.
