The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the County's first Strategic Plan on November 16, 1999.
The Plan is divided into four goal categories:
service excellence, workforce excellence, organizational
effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility. It also
includes one programmatic goal relating to children and
